I was hiered and I just went there every day to ask if they needed help and they did,so I worked for 5 days but I still didn’t have a skedule,so I asked my manager should I come tomorrow and she said she will call me,it’s already 3 days and she never called me,Why did she do this to me,it’s only seasonal job, they are putting me all over then training then they remove me and say we need to train someone else and we only have 3 registers for training,I feel unwanted for some reason
I'm not sure what job you applied for but this applies to any sort of hourly non executive position. You'll get a call if you got the job. You'll get an email rejection if you didn't. Sometimes the emails go into your spam folder. Following up is fine but depending on who answers you're unlikely to get an actual answer. Macy's policy is to never actually tell anyone they didn't get the job, only to send an email. If it was for an executive job then absolutely follow up as those are handled totally differently.
They may just be interviewing for fall and the holidays. They should have told you that before leaving your interview.
Depends. They are not really a loose ends kind of a place. You should probably know you aren’t getting hired.
No. Move on. Don't invest in this company. They won't invest in you.
Yes they always had people falling through the cracks at my store
I would definitely follow up after 2 weeks of not hearing back.
Yes, of course. Macy's needs help!
