Choice Hotels: It's been good from the start, as I started out as a contractor and my work was acknowledged and therefore rewarded me a FT position. My manager has been very receptive and constructive when needed. My coworkers have all been genial and helpful. The perks are decent, nothing extraordinary.
RX: I enjoy the company and the people I work with. I like what I do. I think sometimes bandwidth is a huge issue. I understand working late, but I work late way too much without compensation. My work life balance isn't the best 8 months out of the year, and that needs to be recognized.

First Merchants: It has been brought to my attention that new hires are being hired in at a competitive rate. However, for those employees who have worked here for a while, the compensation is very slow to be adjusted accordingly.
RX: It's a joy being able to put on events for fans. Our conventions are one place where nerds can feel accepted. The speed of each show's occurrences and the pressure of ticket sales for such a small team is a lot, especially with the unfair pay. But the people make it worthwhile.

RX: Rewards and compensation are not based off of how hard you work. Comp plans are not based off of realistic expectations, my pay has changed greatly year over year and not because of my hourly. I have had a different manager every year I've worked here and it will change again for 2025.
RX: Most employees are underpaid and overworked. Employees are routinely lied to about promotions and compensation. I have been told that if I want to get paid more, I should leave the company. That doesn't inspire confidence.

RX: The cons are outweighing the pros. It can be fun and there's lots to learn but the inflated cost of living is not countered by our compensation and weak health benefit options. Morale is low, people are overworked and tired. Go back to pre-pandemic headcount so people can do their jobs right.

RX: I love my immediate team and the events we produce. Being able to work remotely is great. However, we are not adequately compensated for our level of work, nor are we rewarded for our performance or skill. Promotions are scarce and annual raises are less than the bare minimum.

RX: I love my job,; colleagues, the shows I work on are magical (Entertainment Division: MIPCOM, MIP CANCUN etc.) but th work schedule is ecthic, we have to run 4 shows a year, it is back to back, no a lot of break and I think my salary and position is undervalued compare to the great work I do.
RX: Work with some great people but the compensation is not up to par with the cost of living in the immediate area of the HQ office. This would be a dream job, but it doesn't pay very well.
RX: Great culture socially. Limited opportunities. Undervaluing skills that employees have lead to less motivation. Tendency for leadership to focus on a couple key players and overlook the 40 others who have a unique skill set that the company could benefit from.
RX: I've been here less than a year and so far, I have been able to identify a few silos and obstacles among the teams, but I still believe we can keep moving forward together and keep growing.

RX: I am glad to be at RX but the teams are disjointed with how they are put together. Exhibitions are about brining an event together under one roof but we rarely interact with the whole team, it doesn't seem right.

At times throughout my careeer at RX it has been difficult to grow my career, but eventually I managed to find a new role to advance into, where there was no space for my role to grow. Now I am happy with my new role, with the opportunities and challenges.

RX: Shows and teams are great, we could do so much better with more trust in field teams, more bravery on new projects ("big bets" are just a catchphrase, in real life, no one dares to take risks), modern processes and tools that actually save us time instead of eating it.

RX: I am happy, but expectations are unrealistic and some of SLT doesn't help alleviate that with new ways to grow or hiring more people. Onboarding is bad. We invite people into higher positions and then we train them instead those above helping them. Inflation is not matched. PTO is hard to take.

RX: There has been no continuity over the last years. Changes in structure, personell and Company culture have made the company very unstable. There is a fear of loosing your job every month now since structures and departments are changed very reguarly.
