
While the customer is THE most important person at any retail store, Walmart would do much better if they took care of the next most important people there... The Associate. They have made some changes recently but they negate them by taking something else away. Like the increase in starting wage.. they immediately cut hours to compensate for the increase. so there are less people doing the same jobs then there were before and the customer suffers. as a customer its so frustrating to need help with something in the store and having to wander for a half hour to find someone then ultimately going to the service desk for help only to be made to wait again. Walmart needs to get back to Sam's vision. take care of the employees and they will make sure the customer is taken care of
As an associate, I would like to see employees receive bonuses again. The pay increase didn’t really help to afford life better, since the cost of living has risen so high. Myself and my spouse are both overnight stockers and struggle to afford life. We would also like to see the our voices really being heard. Most of these so called you spoke we listened, don’t speak for us.
Train all new associates on the importance of interaction with customers and other associates, as well as procedures and safety, before allowing them to work in the actual store. Personal hygiene and appearance would be a top priority. This currently is not being done. Long term associates need regular retraining in all these areas as well.
Have more people working registers on welfare day and have employees be polite instead of just saying nothing but what u owe I am considering stopping at Wal-Mart because how bad it's getting I waited in line for 35 min already to cash out
I would make sure the employees were paid better for the work they do and I would definitely retrain management to have the attitude of "We won't ask our employees to do anything that we won't do ourselves and stick by it...
That would take some real feedback from employees. See how they really feel about what goes on there and see what things are possible to change training, change morale, improve job tasks.
BY LISTENING TO MY ASSOCIATES AND TAKING CARE OF THEM BY GIVING THEM COST LIVING RAISES EVERY SIX MONTHS ALLOW MY ASSOCIATES TO HAVE 7 DAY SICK TIME.
How about giving all the employees fair and liveable wages??? Doug McMillon makes millions & yet, he pays his employees almost nothing for doing ALL THE WORK
Fire all the managers and get some that actually care about their employees and the employees families
I will make a different cultural food and clothing stall for different culture peoples.
Put more power to the associates who made walmart who they are today
Get rid of the intimidation and dangling your paycheck in front of you
Better customer service, u can never find anyone to help, more lanes open.
I would change a lot of things... there’s too much to write
Open more cash registers...Teach employees how to have customer service skills..
Cut the waiting time on half the lines are to long.
More emphasis on employee contributions to company overall success.
Bring back profit sharing better hours and market flexibility
