Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No investment in engineering in the remote office. Promotions are based on popularity and likeability and less on merit. Engineers are paid under market value. When bringing up compensation, a response that was given from my manager (put in a negative way): "Why should you be paid more?"
I believe other similar companies in the area are compensating more for the same roles.
Wish I had a 401K matching program.
I feel benefits can be improved (i.e. parental leave), but I understand we are still small and growing quickly so expect this to change as we grow.

The introvert can sometimes be alienated. There is a vibe of drink the kool-aid or go away. Also, loudest voice tends to be perceived as the "best."

Very welcoming, great office, exposure to the right people to get the right feel for the company.
Got to meet both of the founders during the interview process and also got into the weeds on the problems they were looking to solve.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Transparency - execs will sometimes change things and not acknowledge or announce it, word will just spread from person to person. Speed - working quickly is important but there is definitely such a thing as too fast - can result in mistakes and sub par products.
