Mission statement is good but the mid level management is looking to become a big bank. Loosing sight of the clients and employee needs

It was very personal and involved
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Actual one on one development rather than mandated "growth" initiatives tailored to groups
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Better communication from in branch employees to upper management. Always felt as if there were unresolved conversations
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too many conference calls dedicated to issues in areas outside of responsibilities. Turn around time on questions could be excessive. Especially on approvals
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It would have been nice if there was a common goal. Each branch is treated as an island in terms of peers and none seem to agree on policy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Base pay is fair but the benefits almost punish a family lifestyle. Retirement options are ok but enrollment is cumbersome and three times I wanted to elect more than a target fund only to be told what I selected(their system options) was no longer supported.
