Mr. Peidong Wu, also known as Richard, has been the Chief Financial Officer of AirMedia Group Inc., since June 2014. Before joining AirMedia, Mr. Wu worked as the Head of legal & compliance at the Greater China Division of Nokia Solutions and Networks. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Vimicro International Corp. from October 8, 2011 to 2012. He served as China Managing Director at Dragon Bay Capital from 2006 to 2011. He served as Chief Financial Officer of China Natural Gas, Inc. from October 23, 2008 to April 30, 2009 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as Chief Financial Officer of China Medicine Corporation from August 25, 2009 to December 2011. He is an experienced finance and investment professional, with more than 18 years of experience working with and advising companies in China in technology, media and telecom sectors. He served as Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer of China Operation at Tejari World FZ LLC, one of the largest online e-procurement service providers and B2B portal operators in the Middle East. He designed and constructed the China Operation's financial and accounting infrastructure and systems to support Tejari World FZ's growth in China. Mr. Wu served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Senior Vice President of The Alliancepharm US LLC from 2003 to 2007, where he was responsibfull financial and accounting responsibility for the multi-million-dollar sourcing and contract manufacturing businesses in the area of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Executive Vice President of Meetchina.com Inc., a pioneering online cross-border e-commerce portal in China. Earlier in his financial career, Mr. Wu served as Senior Finance Director at Motorola Inc., and Investment Banking associate at Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. He is a Licensed Lawyer of the People's Republic of China and used to practice law in Beijing, China for 5 years. He started his career as a senior legal counsel at Beijing Bei Fang Law Offices. Mr. Wu has a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Master of criminal justice from Indiana University. He also has a Master of Law from China University of Political Science & Law.
