Ms. Abigail L. Jenkins has been the Chief Commercial Officer and U.S. Business Head at Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc. since June 2016. Ms. Jenkins has amassed nearly 20 years of commercial leadership experience spanning start-up Biotech enterprises to large Pharmaceutical companies. She specializes in launching brands into markets with high unmet clinical needs and has expertise leading strategic marketing, sales and market access functions. Ms. Jenkins served as Vice-President, Market Access at Relypsa, Inc. where she played a key role in building commercial infrastructure to support the successful launch of its lead CV/Nephrology product in 2015. Ms. Jenkins served as Vice President, Business Development at Actavis, Inc. (now Allergan PLC) as well as Senior Director of Marketing at MedImmune, Inc., where she led cross-functional teams to devise and implement marketing strategies that successfully drove increased revenue and profitability for a billion dollar monoclonal antibody franchise. Ms. Jenkins also has eight years of senior marketing and sales experience with Pfizer Inc. Ms. Jenkins holds BS from Indiana University Bloomington and Ms from The Johns Hopkins University.

Mr. Lloyd Mackenzie serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc. and has been its Vice President of R&D Operations since May 2013. Mr. Lloyd Mackenzie served as Vice President of Technical Operations at Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc. from May 2013 to March 2017 and also served as its Senior Director of Technical Operations from May 2008 to March 2013. Responsible for its Research and Development activities, Mr. Mackenzie has over 22 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with expertise in medicinal chemistry, biochemistry and CMC. From 2007 to 2008, he served as a Research Scientist of Pharmaceutical Development at QLT. From 1999 to 2007, he served as a Research Scientist of Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals Inc. Mr. Mackenzie holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University.

Mr. Kamran Alam has been the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc. since August 2011 and serves as its Corporate Secretary. From June 2010 to August 2011, Mr. Alam served as a Senior Director of Business Development at Sirius Genomics Inc. He has over 15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry and brings a demonstrated ability to finance and identify strategic opportunities for biotechnology companies. From October 2008 to June 2010, Mr. Alam served as Director, Business Development of the Centre for Drug Research and Development, a drug development and commercialization center. From January 2007 to October 2008, he served as a Senior Manager of Business Development at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Manager of Business Development at AnorMED Inc., a chemistry-based biopharmaceutical company. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Alam served worked in the life sciences practice group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global accounting and auditing firm where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation and gained valuable experience in the financing, auditing and tax structuring of a number of biotechnology and technology companies. Mr. Alam holds a B.Sc. in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of British Columbia and an M.B.A. in International Business and Strategy from the University of Victoria and is a Chartered Accountant.
