Mr. Donald R. Young, also known as Don, has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aspen Aerogels, Inc. since November 2001. Mr. Young served as Chief Executive Officer of HighWired, a leading venture capital backed software and e-learning company. Previously he spent nearly 10 years in a broad range of operating roles for Cabot Corporation, a leading global specialty chemical company. At Cabot Corporation, Mr. Young served as an Executive Vice President and had general management responsibility for its Carbon Black Division, including sales and marketing, operations and research and development. In earlier roles at Cabot Corporation, Mr. Young managed global sales and marketing, led the Asia Pacific Division and worked as a divisional Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Cabot Corporation, Mr. Young worked in the investment business at Fidelity Ventures and Cove Capital Associates. He has been Director of Aspen Aerogels, Inc. since November 2001. Mr. Young graduated with a B.A and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Mr. John F. Fairbanks has been Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Aspen Aerogels Inc. since October 2006. For more than 10 years, Mr. Fairbanks served as Senior Vice President and President???Chiswick of New England Business Service, Inc. Mr. Fairbanks joined New England Business Service Inc., in 1994 and served as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1996 to 1998 and Corporate Controller since 1996. Prior to that, he served in different capacities in corporate administration at New England Business Service Inc. Mr. Fairbanks served as Vice President and Treasurer of M/A-Com Inc., and held a variety of finance and treasury related positions with M/A-COM and Dennison Manufacturing Company throughout his career. He serves as a Director of Indian Hill Music. Mr. Fairbanks holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Jeffrey Alan Ball has been Vice President of Operations at Aspen Aerogels, Inc. since August 10, 2015 and served as Vice President of Engineering from January 2013 to August 10, 2015. Prior to joining Aspen Aerogels in January 2013, Mr. Ball was Vice President of Global Capital Project Management for Genzyme a Sanofi Company. Mr. Ball has held leadership roles in manufacturing, engineering and capital management in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biological industries both in the United States and abroad spanning over 20 years. Mr. Ball holds Bachelor & Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University and Villanova University respectively.

Mr. Corby C. Whitaker has been Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Aspen Aerogels, Inc. since December 2012. Mr. Whitaker served as Vice President of North America Sales at Solyndra, LLC. since July 19, 2010. Mr. Whitaker served as Vice President of Global Sales at Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. since December 2007. Mr. Whitaker was responsible for global PV sales, including growing and managing ECD's global sales organization. Prior to United Solar Ovonics, Mr. Whitaker served as Director of Sales and service for Johns Manville Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway company, from 2003 to 2007, where he managed sales of roofing systems and services. He served in various executive and sales management roles for Suez Energy Services, Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. and Ingersoll Dresser Pump. Mr. Whitaker holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Corby Whitaker serves as the Sr. Vice President Marketing and Sales of Aspen Aerogels. Corby started at Aspen Aerogels in Jan of 2012. Corby currently resides in the Greater Boston Area.

Jeffrey Ball serves as the Vice President of Operations of Aspen Aerogels. Jeffrey started at Aspen Aerogels in Aug of 2015. Jeffrey currently resides in the Providence, Rhode Island Area.
