Steve founded Juvo with the mission to establish financial identities for the billions of people worldwide who are creditworthy yet financially excluded. Working with mobile operators, Juvo provides ongoing personalized access to otherwise unattainable financial services. Since coming out of stealth in September 2016, Juvo has increased subscriber reach from 100M to 500M across 25 countries and four continents. Steve is recognized as a pioneer leading the charge to improve identity and financial inclusion. He is often called upon by influential media and leading industry events to speak on mobile financial identity and the power of identifying the unbanked, and has been awarded for his excellence in innovation. Steve’s career has centered on founding, launching and managing early stage technology ventures, including Flixster/Rotten Tomatoes, Amber Networks, VoicePlex Corporation and Edusoft. He holds five patents in telecommunications network architecture. Outside of Juvo, Steve is a guest lecturer at Harvard University and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of UPenn’s Management and Technology program with degrees in computer science from the Moore School of Engineering and finance from the Wharton School.
