He studied Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Education degree from Illinois State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Neal E. West has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at Kaiser Aluminum Corporation since June 2008.
