Mr. George M. Murphy, CPCU, has been Chief Executive Officer and President at Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since April 1, 2016. Mr. Murphy has been employed by Safety Insurance's Insurance Subsidiaries for over 27 years. His leadership roles in Safety Insurance and its insurance subsidiaries included developing strong personal relationships with Safety's network of independent agents along with his understanding of finance, regulation, corporate governance and other matters. He served as Vice President of Marketing at Safety Insurance Group, Inc. from October 1, 2005 to April 1, 2016 and served as its Director of Marketing. He has been a Director of Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since February 23, 2016.

Mr. William J. Begley, Jr., has been the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Secretary of Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since March 4, 2002. Since January 1999, Mr. Begley has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the subsidiaries of Safety Insurance Group, Inc., including Safety Insurance Company. He serves as Vice President of Safety Insurance Company. He has been employed by the Insurance Subsidiaries for over 30 years. He served as Assistant Controller of Safety Insurance' the Insurance Subsidiaries from 1985 to 1987, Controller from 1987 to 1990 and Assistant Vice President/Controller from 1990 to 1999. He serves as a Director at Safety Insurance Company. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Insurers Insolvency Fund.

Mr. James D. Berry, CPCU has been Vice President of Underwriting at Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since July 2015. Mr. Berry served as Vice President of Insurance Operations at Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since October 1, 2005 and directed its Massachusetts Private Passenger line of business since 2001. He has been employed by the Insurance Subsidiaries for over 34 years. He was named as Secretary of the Insurance Subsidiaries. He is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association (FAIR Plan). He has served on several committees of Commonwealth Auto Reinsurers (???CAR???) including Market Review and Defaulted Brokers. He has represented Safety on the Computer Sciences Corporation Series II and Exceed advisory councils. He is a member of the Lexis-Nexis Telematics Leadership Panel.

Mr. David E. Krupa, CPCU, has been Vice President of Property Claims at Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since March 4, 2002 and served as its Vice President of Claims Operations. Mr. Krupa has been Vice President of Claims of the Insurance Subsidiaries of Safety Insurance Group, Inc. since July 1990. He has been employed by the Safety Insurance and its Insurance Subsidiaries for over 33 years. He was first employed by Safety Insurance since 1982 and held a series of management positions in its Claims Department before being appointed Vice President of Safety Insurance in 1990. Mr. Krupa has served on the Auto Damage Appraisers Licensing Board of Massachusetts.
