A Siderúrgica Norte Brasil S.A. – SINOBRAS é a primeira usina siderúrgica integrada de aço longos para construção civil das regiões Norte e Nordeste e saiu na frente no processo de verticalização do minério de ferro no Pará. Produzindo aço desde maio de 2008, a empresa está localizada no município paraense de Marabá, sudeste do Estado, e é integrada ao Grupo Aço Cearense. Possui uma linha de produtos que inclui vergalhões, fio-máquina e trefilados e já alcança todo país com sua distribuição do produto voltado, em cem por cento, para o mercado brasileiro.Moderna, a SINOBRAS trouxe não apenas novas oportunidades de emprego, mas movimentou o mercado brasileiro com geração de renda e impostos, o que contribuiu para uma mudança de realidade na região onde está instalada. Com um investimento de mais de US$ 400 milhões para sua implantação, a SINOBRAS já faz parte do grupo das grandes siderúrgicas nacionais integrando o Instituto Aço Brasil - IABr, órgão que reúne as indústrias de aço do país.Localização: Distrito Industrial de Marabá - Pará.Referência: Primeira Siderúrgica Integrada da região Norte e Nordeste do país.
