Abusive management. The rewards mixed with the control are borderline cult like. There is not support from upper management or HR when there are consistent reports of abusive management, in turn they help the manager at the extent of the employees emotional and physical wellbeing.

I heard back same day but generally within 2 weeks

Went through 3 interviews, took a total time of roughly an hour and a half.
15 minutes unless they see you as a fit and then it could be extended to interview with different managers and sit with a rep to see what the job is like.

What should I wear for an interview at Uline?

Guys, slack, long sleeve button up and a tie. Ladies, pants business suit with blouse tucked in or skirt with blouse tucked in or a nice dress with panty hose and professional dress shoes.
Business casual, skirts or dresses for woman, slacks, shirt and tie for men. Cover tattoos. Men no earrings, women one set of earrings. No additional piercings with an earring in. Covering tattoos is very important.

Many things not related to your job. They make you take a writing style test to see if you can use bullet pints to identify the top 3 items in a paragraph. Myers-Briggs as well. If you are an S type you are guaranteed a job as the owner is an S and thinks that’s the best

They so drug testing before hire and pop drugs tests once a month.
What's the vibe like in the Customer Support dept at Uline? How many hours are you working?
7.5 paid for 8, high pace, detail oriented, service is all about the customer, speed and accuracy.

Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Uline?
You meet with Human Reaources. You take a speed and accuracy test. If they are interested you hear back in a couple days. If not you will receive an email within 2 weeks meeting you know they went in a different direction.

Very tedious. Lots of testing and interviewing with many tests not relevant to job position.

People, constantly hiring and building larger facilities
Growth has slowed in all areas. IT is trying to modernize 30 year old systems
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Uline?
I’d cut out the clicks and find ways for all employee a chance to get to know one another and not just by what team you are on.
Business casual and some remote work. Also separate out the business units from family politics.
How does Uline make decisions around promotions?
Education Background, functions you have learned, your stats and by manager favoritism is the biggest.
It’s a family run business so politics plays very heavily in all decisions.

Slim to none. Owner has stated she doesn’t understand vacations
