Mission Statement

A wedocracy is a social network centered around the freedom to choose joy with every aspect of your wedding planning because having the right to marry is just as important as having the right to enjoy your wedding. Regardless of who's paying for your wedding, it's your day and it must reflect you because we believe in the state of a joyful union. We represent nuptials of the people, by the people. A wedocrat gives what others want to receive and not what tradition proscribes. We are adaptable realists, and not perfectionists. In a wedocracy, joy is our definition of perfection. We consider our options because we know that things don't have to be either/or. They can be "and." For us, there's no such thing as "that's what you're supposed to do." It's all about learning from the mistakes and successes of others, but remembering that it's YOUR marriage and your wedding, nobody else's. And, weddings are community affairs, so let your friends & family who can support you help you.
