Mr. Michael D. A. Aldridge, B.Sc (Hons)., MApFin, has been a Senior Vice President of Corporate & Strategic Development at Codexis, Inc. since October 16, 2016. Mr. Aldridge manages all aspects of Codexis??? growth initiatives, including leading the expansion of the global biocatalyst business, striking new CodeEvolver??? platform licensing agreements and building momentum in the Company's pipeline of therapeutic drug candidates. Mr. Aldridge Co-founded Sirona Therapeutics Ltd. and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President since 2015. Mr. Aldridge served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategic Development at Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 28, 2013. Mr. Aldridge served as the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Director (since March 2010) at Xenome Limited. Mr. Aldridge served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Peplin Ltd. since October 10, 2003. Mr. Aldridge served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Peplin Inc., from October 10, 2003 to August 15, 2008. He served as an Investment Banker based in the US, Europe and Australia and has covered the international biotechnology industry since 1995. From 1999 to 2002, he served as an Associate Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Healthcare Investment Banking Group, based in New York and focused on the US and European biotechnology and small cap pharmaceutical industry. He held similar positions at Volpe Brown Whelan & Company in San Francisco and with the SG Warburg Group in Sydney and London. Mr. Aldridge served as a Consultant of Peplin Inc. until May 15, 2009. He serves as a Director of Peplin Biotech Ltd. He served as a Director of Allon Therapeutics, Inc., from June 30, 2011 to January 2013. He served as a Director of Peplin Inc., from October 2003 to August 15, 2008. He served as a Director of Wilson HTM Investment Group in Brisbane from September 2002 to September 2003. Mr. Aldridge holds a B.S. in Chemistry with honors from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and an M.A. in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
