Mr. Michael J. Willis, also known as Mike, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Gevo, Inc. since April 2014 and its Executive Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy since December 2012. Mr. Willis serves as a Manager at Redfield Energy, LLC. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer at Gevo, Inc. from October 3, 2013 to April 2014. He was an Operating Principal at Virgin Green Fund. He served as an Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Gevo, Inc., since December 2012 and as its Interim Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer since October 3, 2013. He served as a Principal at Virgin Green Fund. He joined Virgin Green Fund in 2006 and is a founding member of Virgin Green Fund. He has over ten years of experience in private equity, investment banking and corporate finance. He has been involved with Virgin Group's thrust into renewable energy since the outset in 2005 and has been a part of the deal team responsible for evaluating and investing in opportunities in the sector. He was involved in the fund's investment activities, including its investment into Gevo and worked in operational roles with some of the fund's portfolio companies, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of DuraTherm, Inc. Previously Mr. Willis worked with Virgin Management Limited in London in corporate development assisting several of the Virgin Group's portfolio businesses internationally with strategy and corporate finance transactions. He has also worked in private equity and investment banking in the United States and Canada focusing on mid-market transactions in a variety of sectors including technology, consumer products and retail. Prior to this, he worked at Virgin Management Limited in London in corporate finance and strategy roles assisting several of the portfolio companies internationally in managing the growth and in effecting corporate finance transactions at the senior management and Board Level. He also worked in private equity and investment banking in the United States and Canada with Bedford Capital Corporation and First Albany, focusing on mid-market transactions in a variety of sectors including technology, consumer products and retail. Mr. Willis serves as a Vice Chairman of Board of Governors at Green Plains Obion LLC and has been its Member of its Board of Governors since January 2007. He also serves on the board of Wildcat Discovery Technologies. He holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD in France and a B.Com. degree from Queen's University in Canada.

Dr. Christopher M. Ryan, also known as Chris, Ph.D. has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Gevo, Inc. since June 2011 and has been its Chief Technology Officer since October 2012. Dr. Ryan serves as Manager of Redfield Energy, LLC. Dr. Ryan served as an Executive Vice President of Business Development - Downstream of Gevo, Inc., since June 2009. He also spent four years working in Corporate R&D for HB Fuller, a specialty chemicals company. He served as a Vice President of Business Development for Downstream at Gevo, Inc. Dr. Ryan has more than 15 years of strategic leadership, business development, research and product development in bio-based materials. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer for NatureWorks LLC., which he co-founded in 1997. As a founding member of NatureWorks, he was involved in the development and commercialization of its new bio-based polymer. Dr. Ryan holds a Master's degree in Management from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Chemistry from Gustavus Adolphus College. Dr. Ryan completed the Management of Technology program at the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Andrew J. Marsh, also known as Andy, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Plug Power Inc. since April 8, 2008. Mr. Marsh Co-Founded Valere Power Inc. in 2001 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until June 2007. He served for 18 years in various positions at Lucent Bell Laboratories and served as its Technical Director. Mr. Marsh has an MBA from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Temple University.

Prof. Liao received his PhD in 1987 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Treat everyone as if they are an integral part of the company. Listen to suggestions from the people who work on the floor rather than assume they know nothing. Acknowledge that we can all do our part to make things better, not just one person or department. Teamwork is crucial.

Everyone bad mouthed the company...we all needed to work on it. Perhaps if there weren't so many things awry, then there would not be as much to complain about. Doing your fare share during each shift and not saving work for the other employees that people should've done themselves.

Leadership should be exactly that, Leadership. There were no leaders at Gevo. There were lazy, disgruntled, and rude individuals in charge of delegating tasks with no plans to teach others or lead them. It became a very lackadaisical workplace and people stopped caring about the job.
