Mr. Richard J. Thomas, also known as Rick, has been Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at OssDsign AB since April 20, 2016. Mr. Thomas has invaluable experience having previously served in the positions in sales and marketing at Medtronic, ApaTech and Baxter, where he last served as International Sales Director. Mr. Thomas served as a Senior Advisor to Lane Berry's Healthcare investment banking unit and is a founding partner of Lehmann Thomas, LLC, a consulting partnership providing strategic planning, technology assessment and business development services to the medical device industry. Mr. Thomas was previously with: NeuroMetrix, Inc., EndoMatrix, Inc., C.R. Bard, Inc., Baxter Travenol Laboratories, and NEN-DuPont Radiopharmaceuticals. He served as President of NeuroMetrix, Inc. until 2002. Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of EndoMatrix, Inc., a development stage company acquired by C.R. Bard, Inc. From 1991 to 1996, he served as Group Vice President and a member of C.R. Bard's Management Executive Committee. At Bard since 1984, he founded and ran the Bard Ventures Division, forming new operating divisions including Bard Electrophysiology and Bard Interventional Products. He served as President of the Bard Ventures Division. Mr. Thomas held various marketing positions with Clinical Assays Division of Baxter Travenol Laboratories and with NEN-DuPont Radiopharmaceuticals. He served as Chairman of the advisory board for the Health, Sciences and Technology Program at Harvard/MIT. He serves as Director of the MassMEDIC Enterprise Development Resource Center. He serves as Director of MediSpectra, Inc. He serves as a member of Health, Sciences and Technology Program at Harvard/MIT. Mr. Thomas obtained a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Clark University and completed the Executive Management Development Program at Boston University.
