Mr. Michael D. Kandris, also known as Mike, has been Chief Operating Officer of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. since January 6, 2013. Mr. Kandris is an Operating Partner of Huron Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Kandris focuses on Business Services (Transportation & Logistics) at Huron Capital Partners, LLC. He has over 30 years of general management experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Prior to Pacific Ethanol, Mr. Kandris served as President and Chief Operating Officer at RUAN Transport Corporation as well as Ruan Transportation Management Systems, Inc. He also served as President of the Western Division of RTMS, which was heavily involved in the dairy industry. He joined the RUAN organization served as an Executive Vice President of Transportation since 1999. Before joining Ruan, he was part owner of North Star Transport Inc., where he was Co-Owner and served as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kandris also served as the President of a subsidiary of Burlington Northern and has held several senior executive positions in sales, operations and finance with IU International. He serves as a Board Member of National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC), National Tank Truck Association and American Trucking Associations (ATA). He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Agri-Carriers Group, Inc. He has been a Director of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. since June 2008. He served as the Chairman of National Accounting and Finance Council of the ATA. He holds a B.S. degree in business with honors from California State University-Hayward.

Mr. Bryon T. McGregor serves as Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Ethanol Central, LLC (formerly Aventine Renewable Energy Holdings, Inc.). Mr. McGregor has been the Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. since November 19, 2009. Mr. McGregor served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. from April 21, 2009 to November 19, 2009. He served as a Vice President of Finance at Pacific Ethanol, Inc. from September 2008 to April 21, 2009. Prior to joining Pacific Ethanol in 2008, he served as Senior Director of Treasury for E*TRADE Financial from February 2002 to August 2008, serving in various capacities including International Treasurer based in London England from 2006 to 2008, Brokerage Treasurer and Director from 2003 to 2006 and Assistant Treasurer and Director of Finance and Investor Relations from 2002 to 2003. Prior to E*TRADE, Mr. McGregor served as Manager of Finance and Head of Project Finance for BP (formerly Atlantic Richfield Company - ARCO) from 1998 to 2001. Mr. McGregor has over 25 years of treasury and finance experience He has extensive experience in banking and served as a Director of International Project Finance for Credit Suisse from 1992 to 1998, as Assistant Vice President for Sumitomo Mitsubishi Banking Corp. (formerly The Sumitomo Bank Limited) from 1989 to 1992 and as Commercial Banking Officer for Bank of America from 1987 to 1989. Mr. McGregor has a B.S. degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in International Finance and a minor in Japanese.

Mr. Christopher W. Wright, Esq., has been Vice President and Secretary of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. since June 2006 and has been its General Counsel since June 26, 2006. Mr. Wright is a senior lawyer and Manager with over 23 years of experience and served as a Partner with the global law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. He was a Partner in the Business department of Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. He joined Cooley Godward in 1998 and served as a Partner in charge of its Pacific Northwest office, based in Kirkland, Washington. His practice focuses on the representation of emerging companies in all aspects of capital formation, as well as business and technology acquisitions, mergers and strategic alliances. Mr. Wright represents venture capitalists in connection with investments and portfolio transactions. His experience includes advising a broad range of information technology concerns, including internet, software, semi-conductor, network device, telecommunication and wireless service companies. He advises technology companies in the protection, transfer and licensing of intellectual property. He has acted as general counsel for numerous technology enterprises in all aspects of corporate development, including fund-raising, business and technology acquisitions, mergers and strategic alliances. Mr. Wright holds an A.B. in History from Yale College and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1981.

Mr. William L. Jones, also known as Bill, Co-founded Pacific Ethanol, Inc. in January 2003 and has been its Chairman since March 2005. Mr. Jones is the Founder and Chairman of Pacific Ethanol Central, LLC (formerly Aventine Renewable Energy Holdings, Inc.). He is a second-generation Farmer and cattle rancher who also has over 20 years of policy and political experience in the state of California. He First elected to thev California Assembly in 1982, he served 12 consecutive years, including two as Republican Leader. In 1994, he served as Secretary of State of California as the first Central Valley politician to hold a statewide office and served until January 2003. As both a Farmer and Public Official, he followed the development of the ethanol industry for years, perceiving it as a solution for a number of problems, including environmental and economic issues. Mr. Jones holds a B.A. in Agribusiness and Plant Sciences from the California State University, Fresno.
