Mr. Timothy P. Noyes has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Proteon Therapeutics Inc since April 2006. Mr. Noyes serves as the President of Iconix Pharmaceuticals Inc. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Trine Pharmaceuticals Inc. (formerly, Essential Therapeutics Inc.) since August 2002. He has more than 15 years of industry experience. Mr. Noyes joined Trine in August 2002. He served as President of Genzyme Corporation, Genzyme's Renal and GelTex Pharmaceuticals Inc. Mr. Noyes served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing of GelTex and was responsible for all aspects of pre-launch and launch planning for Renagel???, a phosphate binder for patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD). Mr. Noyes was also responsible for developing the pre-launch and launch plan for Welchol???, a treatment for hypercholesterolemia that was licensed to Sankyo Pharma. Mr. Noyes served in a number of Sales and Marketing positions at Merck and Co., Inc. He worked on the Marketing Teams for Prilosec (omeprazole), Vasotec (enalapril), and Prinivil (lisinopril), and was responsible for designing/implementing disease management programs for payers (e.g. insurance companies, managed care plans) within it's Managed Care Division. Mr. Noyes served as a Director of Marketing of Hypertension and Heart Failure Division and was responsible for strategic integration of products at various life cycle stages. He has been a Director of Proteon Therapeutics Inc since April 2006. Mr. Noyes served as a Director of Iconix Biosciences, Inc. (formerly, Iconix Pharmaceuticals). Mr. Noyes has B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A from the Harvard Business School.

He also led the successful integration of all departments in the three-way merger among Creative BioMolecules, Ontogeny and Reprogenesis that created Curis in August of 2000. While with Curis and prior to merging, Ontogeny, Inc., he was responsible for securing corporate investments and raising over $100 million in three institutional equity offerings. Mr. Eldridge served as the Chief Financial Officer of Boston Life Sciences Inc. from April 1993 to April 1996 and served as its Vice President of Corporate Development and Finance. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Ontogeny, Inc. and served as its Vice President of Finance from April 1996 to August 2000. He served as an Investment banking of Kidder Peabody & Co. Inc. from August 1990 to March 1993. He was Investment Professional at Kidder Peabody Group Inc. He serves at Alseres Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He worked in the biotechnology industry as a part-time Chief Financial Officer, including work on IPO's and a Form 10 filing to go public. Mr. Eldridge earned M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and B.A. in Government and Economics from Dartmouth College.

Dr. Steven Keith Burke, MD, has been the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Proteon Therapeutics Inc since August 2006. Dr. Burke served as Senior Vice President of medical and regulatory affairs of Genzyme Drug Discovery and Development. Prior to Genzyme, he served as Vice President of Clinical Research of GelTex Pharmaceuticals. At GelTex and Genzyme, Dr. Burke obtained broad experience in all phases of drug development, from IND to NDA approval, including post-approval outcomes studies. He began his career as an Associate Director at Glaxo, Inc. from 1992 to 1994. He worked on two drugs that were eventually approved in the United States at Glaxo, Inc. Dr. Burke is an accomplished researcher, possessing drug development knowledge and experience in metabolism, renal, gastroenterology, infectious disease, oncology and dermatology. He served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Gastroenterology, at the University of North Carolina from 1993 to 1994. Dr. Burke also served as a Staff Physician, Gastroenterology, at the Brockton/West Roxbury VA Medical Center from 1995 to 1998. He was a Research Fellow in Gastroenterology from 1991 to 1992 and a Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology from 1990 to 1991 at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Burke has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Harvard College and holds a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College.
