Mr. Clifford G. Adlerz was Interim Chief Executive Officer of Surgery Partners, Inc. Mr. Adlerz has been an Interim Chief Executive Officer and Director of Surgery Center Holdings, Inc. since September 2017. Mr. Adlerz served as the President of Symbion Inc. from May 2002 to November 3, 2014 and served as its Chief Operating Officer since its inception in 1996 until November 3, 2014. Mr. Adlerz served as President of Symbion Healthcare. While at Symbion, Mr. Adlerz oversaw a range of responsibilities including corporate strategy, business development, capital allocation and various cost efficiency initiatives. Mr. Adlerz has over 20 years of operational and executional experience. Mr. Adlerz also served as Secretary of Symbion Inc. from 1996 to May 2002. He served as Regional Vice President of Midsouth Region for HealthTrust Inc. from 1992 until its merger with HCA Inc. in May 1995. He served as Division Vice President of HCA until September 1995. He served as Chief Executive Officer of South Bay Hospital in Sun City, Florida from 1987 to 1992. He was an Associate Administrator at Bayonet Point/Hudson Medical Center in Hudson, Florida from 1985 to 1987. Prior thereto, Mr. Adlerz was Assistant Administrator at North Beach Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He served as a Director of Symbion Inc. from 1996 to November 3, 2014. He served as a Director of Symbion Holdings Corporation until November 3, 2014. Mr. Adlerz served on the Board of Directors for the National Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and was part of the leadership group for ASC Quality Collaboration. Mr. Adlerz holds a B.A. in Business and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
