He has strong skills in commercialization, business development and global partnerships, including experience in licensing and developing respiratory products and an excellent understanding of the evolving specialty pharmaceutical market. Mr. Adams began his career at ICI Pharmaceuticals, where he rose from Research Laboratory Assistant to Director of Sales and Marketing. During his career he has worked in most therapeutic areas and has been instrumental in a number of major global and national product launches including Paxil, Famvir, Coreg, Diovan, Tenormin and Zestril. Mr. Adams has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical executive leadership with a record of successfully building organizations, delivering successful results against short, medium and long-term goals and creating shareholder value. Mr. Adams has over 30 years of experience in both specialty and large pharmaceutical organizations. Having spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Adams has a broad background encompassing research, sales, marketing, international and national product management, business development, general management and he has extensive senior management experience. Mr. Koven served as General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer, Executive Vice President and Secretary of Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc. from February 3, 2012 to January 29, 2015. He served as an Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. since March 1, 2007. Mr. Koven served as the President and Chief Administrative Officer of Neurologix Inc. from September 19, 2011 to November 30, 2011. Mr. Koven was responsible for legal, intellectual property, corporate development and licensing, legal, human resources and general daily operations. He has more than 26 years of experience practicing law, with over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including over ten years of pharmaceutical industry experience in both the private and public sector. He served as the Chief Administrative & Legal Officer and Executive Vice President at Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since May 10, 2010. He had been responsible for the legal, intellectual property, CD&L and compliance departments. Mr. Koven served as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Sepracor, Inc. from March 1, 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, he held a series of high-level positions with Warner-Lambert, culminating with his role as Assistant General Counsel of Pharmaceuticals in North America and Assistant General Counsel, Consumer Healthcare N.A. from 1993 to 2000 and managed all legal aspects of Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc.'s North American pharmaceutical business, including the negotiation and drafting of option and licensing agreements, joint venture transactions and acquisitions. Mr. Koven served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Lavipharm Laboratories, Inc. since 2000 and served as its General Counsel. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Lavipharm Corporation from 2000 to 2003. He worked with Cahill, Gordon and Reindel in New York.
