In the SaaS market, we are generally far underpaid in comparison to the rest of the market. I know many reps who have moved on from Egnyte and 1.5x'd or 2x'd compensation at the new organization.

There is very little salary hike and the salary itself is not on par with the industry(2x). That's when compared to the company that's not public yet. Very little rsu granted and the wait for the company going public feels "forever".

Inflation is at an all-time high, in my area, cost of living is increasing exponentially. I am being headhunted constantly from companies claiming to pay much more generous salaries. It is a matter of time before high level talent in non-management positions move on to other organizations.

An actual discussion about it instead of being told "I cant go back to the well right now." A few months prior one employee who was about to leave was openly celebrated about getting a "deal done". The well doesnt apply to everyone equally.
