How's the work life balance at Schwing america?
Terrible. It's not a balance, it's a battle. Everyone I know struggles with having a life outside of work.
How's the vacation policy at Schwing america?
Fairly reasonable if you request in advance. Production workers generally start with 48 hours of PTO and 40 hours of vacation.
How secure do you feel at your job at Schwing america?
Average or better. Hard to keep competent people. They usually burn out from the hours and or find something better. If you can put up with it and aren't totally useless, you could keep your job for a long time.
How much diversity is there among employees at Schwing america?
Diversity shouldn't be a factor. People should be given opportunity based on ability, regardless of race. That being said, Schwing is reasonably diverse. People who have abilities generally last longer, again, regardless of race.
How's the morale at Schwing america?
Morale does not exist. You work the hours they make you. If you want time off, even while working overtime, you are forced to use your PTO or vacation time. One day, your working 40 hours, the next, they change it to 56. People do just enough to not get in trouble, sometimes less. Can't blame them really, management seems to have little respect for their workers.
