What's the company culture like at X.ai?
The company is super transparent to its employees. Board documents, company financials, weekly exec team meeting notes are all shared with the whole company. Decision making is often distributed and pushed to the people closest to the problem. Individual feedback, both positive and critical are shared regularly.
Collaborative, very little ego goes into decisions, despite the fact that we have many people with huge egos.

Flexible with a minimum of 2 weeks. Peers approve vacation, not managers. Of course, it is a startup fighting to win. They don't expect you to be gone 6 weeks straight
How does X.ai make decisions around promotions?
The company gather 3 sources of data: 1) self evaluation 2) manager evaluation 3) peer evaluations. Each evalution describe the skills, impact, communications and leadership the person displayed. Then a promotion panel review all data and make the final recommendation. The panel is made up of tech management and senior developers
