Started very exciting where everyone was very pleasant but only in front of the boss when the boss is not there there is a lot of passive-aggressive comments and trying to make someone else responsible for each other tasks.

Better communication and the need for a direct supervisor in order to restore fairness and equal distribution of tasks. The manager is not always on-site and the staff is left to decide among themselves the distribution of daily tasks, creating resentment and a passive-aggressive environment.
