Where do you see yourself in the future with this company? I had no idea I’d be watching weeks pass like days, on medication for the stress and feeling so insecure that I am looking for another job. This is by far the most stressful BS job I’ve ever had.

Manager review. Same manager that set the goals so they don’t have to give you a good raise.

Once a year. 3 to 5 % raise. And bonuses are 4%. Be reminded though. That stupidly impossible goals will be set just so they can deny anymore than 3% raise.

Other than playing a key role in everything our department is doing.... no. I feel like the management has no idea what I do or the amount of effort my contributions require.

Depends on the department and who manages it. Site services “S6” is very low. We get made to fill lucky to even have a job.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Evonik Corporation Industries?
I wish I would have known how cut throat the political game is. To be more prepared for the fact that no one in management is your friend. They will be nice to your face, lie and make fake promises in order to keep you motivated to push their agenda. Technical employees are just rungs in the ladder to those in management. They place unrealistic expectations on people just so they can have an excuse to deny promotions or raises. Evonik as a company is awesome. But the management in the US is nothing but people trying to get to the top as fast as they can and will backstab and lie to get there.
