Mr. Kenneth D. Russell, also known as Ken, has been Chief Executive Officer and Interim President of First Acceptance Corporation since October 19, 2016. Mr. Russell is a Partner of Ford Financial Fund, L.P. and served as its Principal. He is a Partner of Ford Financial Fund II, L.P. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mechanics Bank from June 2015 until October 1, 2016. He also served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Interim President of Mechanics Bank. Mr. Russell spent 20 years in KPMG and had engagement responsibilities for several significant regional banking, thrift and other financial services clients. He joined Ford Financial Fund in 2010 as a Principal, bringing his vast banking experience to the organization. Mr. Russell is a former member of the managing board of directors for KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft (KPMG DTG). While a member of KPMG DTG, he served in leadership of Audit - Financial Services and as the Global Lead Partner for KPMG of the Deutsche Bank AG relationship. Subsequent to his service as a member of the German firm leadership, he functioned as a freelance strategic advisor to KPMG DTG's managing board of directors. He has participated in the integration of the UK and German KPMG firms in the formation of KPMG Europe and headed a partner development program that he developed, which focuses on assisting partners in becoming better businessmen as well as technicians. In 1993, Mr. Russell joined KPMG's national office and led their financial services clients advisory unit. In 2001, he served as the Managing Board for KPMG, where he served as the global lead partner in the firm's relationship with Deustche Bank. The job entailed managing and consulting on banking operations in over 50 countries for the multi-national German bank. He turned the Deutsche Bank account into one of KPMG's top 10 accounts within four years. Mr. Russell retired from the KPMG Germany Managing Board in 2008 in order to lead a new Partner Mentoring Program for KPMG's offices throughout Europe, working to help young professionals become category and practice leaders. Prior to joining KPMG DTG, Mr. Russell was the lead financial services partner in the US KPMG LLP's Department of Professional Practice (DPP). His responsibilities in DPP included leading the financial instruments, structured financing and securitization topic teams and he was one of DPP's leading consultants on financial instruments, hedging and securitization accounting issues. Prior to joining DPP in 1993, his background includes more than four decades of financial services experience. He serves as the Director of Mechanics Bank. Mr. Russell has been a Director of Hilltop Holdings, Inc. since March 2010. He has been a Director of First Acceptance Corporation since May 2014. He attended the University of North Texas and graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting.

He has over 25 years of experience focused primarily in the insurance industry, which includes Auditing and Financial reporting and insurance agency operations. He has over seven years of public accounting experience and served as Senior Audit Manager with Peat, Marwick, Main (now known as KPMG) from 1980 to 1985. Mr. Bodayle is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Investors where he played a lead role in financing activities and banking relationships. He also has served as Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of a private REIT. His four-decade career also includes positions with CIT Financial Services, Advance Mortgage Corporation and Chrysler Motors Corporation. He is a member of the Staffing Industry Association, the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, Professional Administrative Co-Employers (PACE), and The Institute of Management Accountants' Small Business Council. He is also a member of the Business Services Group of Oaklins (formerly M&A International, Inc.). Mr. Buttermore earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Wayne State University.
