He moved through the ranks as a Sports Producer, Executive Producer, Assistant News Director and News Director at a number of stations, including WJZ in Baltimore, KNBC in Los Angeles, KING in Seattle and WCAU in Philadelphia, before moving into senior management. Under his leadership, two stations he managed won an Edward R. Murrow Award, for Best Website at WAFF and for Breaking News Coverage at WIS. Mr. Hoffman is a Graduate of the University of Maryland, holds a BA in Communications and Political Science.
