Diversify the management, bringing on new talent that can clean away the ridiculous politics that exists under this old , stale management group. Bring some positivity instead of their endless backbiting and high school type gossipers.

Have a policy against nepotism and stick to it. As stated before, shake up old guard, bring in enthusiastic talent that iis interested in advancing the company, rather than one-ups-man ship so prevalent for so long.
