Mr. Didier Basset serves as Vice President for Operations at RSD S.A. Mr. Basset joined RSD in 1993 as Marketing Director. His leadership and achievements over the years earned him the position as Director of Global Sales and marketing. He served as Director of Operations at RSD S.A. since 2007. His deep understanding of RSD's market, customers, and staff gives him unique insight into RSD S.A.'s business performance, and long-term strategy. He provides day-to-day guidance to ensure timely completion of corporate priorities, and ensures RSD builds and maintains a best-in-class organization. From 1984 to 1992, he was a Product Manager at IBM Suisse SA. He was in charge of launching new software for systems management (all IBM platforms) and a new range of information storage products. In addition, he was Sales Manager for major banks and financial services accounts in Geneva. Before IBM, he was a data processing and software editing specialist at Gestronic SA -- one of the major enterprise resource planning software firms in Switzerland in the 1980s. The lucrative career opportunity offered by IBM, unfortunately, stalled his pursuit of an MBA from Webster University. He holds a Masters Degree in Social Economic Science and Business Computing from the University of Geneva.
