Mr. Michael J. Tschiderer, also known as Mike, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Transcat Inc. since March 27, 2016 and has been its Vice President of Finance since December 10, 2015. Mr. Tschiderer serves as Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of Transcat Inc. He served as the Global Controller and a Vice President at GXS Worldwide, Inc., since March 2011 and was its Principal Accounting Officer since April 27, 2011 and served as its Treasurer. Mr. Tschiderer served as Vice President of Finance of Infinia Corporation from August 2008 to February 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Tschiderer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ecovation, Inc., from October 2006 to July 2008. He served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Ecovation, Inc. Mr. Tschiderer has more than 15 years of experience in operations and financial management. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Mpower Holding Corporation since February 2005 until September 2006 and as its Treasurer since April 2003 until September 2006, responsible for developing strategic initiatives and operating policies and procedures to support the growth of Ecovation, Inc. At MPower, he was responsible for all financial operations. He served as Vice President of Finance and Controller of Mpower Holding Corp. from March 2001 to February 2005. He served as Vice President of Finance and Administration of Mpower Holding Corp. from May 2000 to March 2001. He was responsible for the management consulting division of Bonadio & Co., LLP, where he founded the management consulting division for one of the largest Certified Public Accountant firms in Western and Central New York. He served as an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. He was a Co-owner of Professional Medical Supply. From 1989 to 1995, he owned various small businesses in the Rochester, New York area. He was a Partner in the accounting firm of Bonadio & Co. in Rochester, New York from 1995 to April 2000. Mr. Tschiderer has served in several senior financial executive positions, including Chief Financial Officer, in technology, telecommunications, manufacturing and environmental energy companies, as well as having Big 4 public accounting experience. He served as Global Controller with LanzaTech, Inc., a global leader in gas fermentation technology that uses waste carbon streams to develop fuels and high-value chemicals. His experience covers the full spectrum of public company financial functions, including financial management, treasury, SEC financial reporting and investor relations. Mr. Tschiderer has been an Accounting Instructor of St. John Fisher College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
