I'm proud to work at Age of Learning. It has such an amazing mission to educate kids everywhere, including in poor countries around the world through its Foundation. It's fast-paced and exciting, with great coworkers developing new edtech products that will hopefully be the future of education.

    It's an interesting place. It can be pretty siloed if you do not make friends easily. If you're a millennial, you will probably understand the vibe better than those of us who are not. There's really not much room for upward advancement-lateral moves, yes. And raises are not a priority so if you do not negotiate a good package on your way in, you'll be stuck. There's a ton of nepotism here, too. Despite all I have written, it is a good place to work if you need to be employed solidly for awhile. You can learn new things and if you make an effort to reach out to others you will receive help.
