Mr. Robert Gallotto, also known as Bob, is a Co-Founder of Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has been its Strategic Adviser since April 2015. Mr. Gallotto co-founded Alcresta, Inc. in 2011 and served as its President until May 12, 2017. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Alcresta, Inc. and Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to Alcresta and Allena, he served as the Chief Business Officer of Alnara Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2009 to 2010. He has over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with a focus on strategic planning, commercial and business development and sales and marketing. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development for Alnara. He served as a Vice President of Commercial Development of branded Products of Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc. from January 2003 to December 2005 and also its Vice President of Strategic Planning & Alliance Management from January 2001 to October 31, 2008. During his time at Altus, he was responsible for leading Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s commercial strategy and strategic alliances, which included forging a pivotal partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for liprotamase. He served as Director of Commercial Development, Branded Products having joined Altus in 2001. He has more than seventeen years of sales, marketing and strategic product development experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Before joining Pharmaceuticals Inc., he served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Sage BioPharma from August 1999 to June 2001. From January 1996 to July 1999, he served in various positions at Serono, Inc. and Biogen, Inc., where he was responsible for overall brand positioning, product launch planning, strategic planning and key alliance management for a portfolio of drugs, including Gonal-F and Avonex. From 1987 to 1995, he served in various positions in sales, marketing and managed healthcare with The Upjohn Company. Mr. Gallotto received a B.S. in Biology from Stonehill College.
