Mr. Jon R. McTaggart serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Minnesota Public Radio Inc. Mr. McTaggart serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of American Public Media Group and previously served as its Chief Executive Officer since July 1, 2011. Mr. McTaggart co-founded Gather Inc. in 2004. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for American Public Media Group and its largest division, Minnesota Public Radio. He is the senior executive responsible for daily operations of MPR and APMG. He provides leadership of MPR's operating divisions, including Content & Media, Technology, Marketing, Development and Membership, Underwriting and Sales, and Business Development. He also leads daily operations provided by APMG to its subsidiaries including Southern California Public Radio (Los Angeles, CA) and Greenspring Companies. He has been deeply involved in MPR's growth; he joined MPR in 1982 as a Station Manager in Bemidji. Since then, he has served as General Manager of MPR's five-station group based in Collegeville/Saint Cloud, as Senior Vice President for New Media, and as Vice President of Business Development for APMG. He served as Senior Vice President of Content & Media, where he was responsible for all MPR programming and media platforms, regionally and nationally, including MPR's 35 FM radio stations and two regional program networks with more than 700,000 weekly listeners; all 20 of MPR's national programs (including Prairie Home Companion, Marketplace, American RadioWorks, and Saint Paul Sunday) with combined weekly audiences of nearly 12 million listeners; Classcial 24, an MPR partnership with Public Radio International (PRI) providing a 24-hour classical music program service to more than 280 public radio stations in all 50 states with a weekly audience of 2 million listeners, and MPR's media platforms (namely Radio and Direct Broadcast, including direct satellite, New Media including all related Internet sites, and Live Programming Events). Prior to returning to MPR in 1995, he served as Vice President for Advancement and University Relations of a private liberal arts university in Riverside, California. Mr. McTaggart serves as a Director of Minnesota Public Radio Inc. He serves on the Second Harvest Heartland organizational board and is a former board member of Bemidji State University Foundation and National Public Radio. In addition to his tenure at MPR, he has led strategic planning, communications, fundraising, and business development as a Director for a non-profit hospital group and was an Executive Director of the hospital foundation in Reading, Pennsylvania. He served as a Director of Gather, Inc. He holds a Masters of Public Management from Kurtztown University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors degree in Communications and Journalism from Bemidji State University.

Mr. Morris Goodwin, Jr. serves as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Minnesota Public Radio, Inc. Mr. Goodwin oversees the financial operations for all entities within the family of companies that make up American Public Media Group - Minnesota Public Radio, American Public Media, Classical South Florida and Southern California Public Radio. He leads all finance areas including management reporting and regulatory external reporting, budgeting and forecasting, all daily accounting functions and financing/investing activities. He serves as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of American Public Media Group. He has been the President and Chief Operations Officer of The Hogan Company, an NASD registered broker-dealer, since August 2005. Mr. Goodwin served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Vivius, Inc. since December 2000. He served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer at Deluxe Corporation from August 1997 to September 2000 and as Vice President and Corporate Treasurer of American Express Financial Advisors from 1990 to 1997. He served as Vice President of finance and administration and Chief Financial Officer for the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation in St. Paul, Minn. He held executive and financial leadership positions at Chase Manhattan Bank, the City & County of San Francisco. He has more than 30 years of financial experience in industries that include investment management, financial services, e-commerce and commercial and investment banking. Prior to joining American Express, Mr. Goodwin served as the Chief Financial Officer of IDS Bank and Trust and Vice President at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He has been a Director of Winthrop Resources Corporation since November 1996. He serves as a Trustee of Minneapolis Foundation, The. He serves on the boards of the following non-profit organizations: Twincities Rise and the Metropolitan Economic Development Association. He served as a Director of BMC Industries Inc., from 2002 to November 13, 2004. He served as a Director of Mathstar, Inc., from October 26, 2005 to February 23, 2009. He serves as Chairman of the board for the Search Institute and serves on the boards of Twin Cities Rise, Charities Review Council and African American Leadership Forum. He also is a member of the University of Minnesota Policy Advisory Committee and co-leader of the Diaconate Commission, Episcopal Church of Minnesota. He is a registered representative with the NASD and a registered Principal of The Hogan Company. Mr. Goodwin holds an M.B.A. in finance and public policy from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Political Economy from Williams College.

He earned his B.A. from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, his M.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is A.B.D. in History from Claremont Graduate School.
