Dr. John Coustas serves as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Danaos Corporation. Dr. Coustas has over 25 years of experience in the shipping industry. Dr. Coustas assumed management of Danaos in 1987 and has been responsible for its corporate strategy and the management of its affairs since that time. He serves as an Deputy Chairman of The Swedish Club. He serves as a Director of Danaos Management Consultants. He has been a Director of Danaos Corporation since 1998. He has been a Director of The Swedish Club since 1995. Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors of both the Union of Greek Ship-owners and the Cyprus Union of Ship-owners. Dr. Coustas holds a Degree in Marine Engineering from National Technical University of Athens as well as a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Computer Controls from Imperial College, London.

Mr. Dimitris Vastarouchas has been Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Danaos Corporation since January 1, 2011 and serves as its Technical Director. Mr. Vastarouchas served as Technical Manager of Danaos Shipping Company Limited since 2005. He has over 14 years of experience in the shipping industry. Mr. Vastarouchas joined Danaos Shipping Company Limited in 1995 and prior to becoming Technical Manager he was the New Buildings Projects and Site Manager, under which capacity he supervised new building projects in Korea for 4,250, 5,500 and 8,500 TEU containerships. Mr. Vastarouchas holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Certificates & Licenses of expertise in the fields of Aerodynamics (C.I.T.), Welding (CSWIP), Marine Coating (FROSIO) and Insurance (North of England P&I). He is also a qualified auditor by Net Norske Veritas.

Mr. Iraklis Prokopakis serves as the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Danaos Corporation, which he joined in 1998. Mr. Prokopakis has over 30 years of experience in the shipping industry. He was a captain in the Hellenic Navy. He served as Vice President of Danaos Corporation. He has been a Director of Danaos Corporation since 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Portsmouth University in the United Kingdom, a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and a Ship Risk Management Diploma from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States and a post-graduate diploma in business studies from the London School of Economics. Mr. Prokopakis has a Certificate in Operational Audit of Banks from the Management Center Europe in Brussels and a Safety Risk Management Certificate from Det Norske Veritas.

Mr. Evangelos Chatzis has been the Chief Financial Officer of Danaos Corporation since July 22, 2011 and serves as its Secretary. Mr. Chatzis served as a Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Danaos Corporation until June 10, 2011. He joined has been with Danaos Corporation since 2005. He has over 14 years of experience in corporate finance and the shipping industry. Prior to Danaos Corporation, He was the Chief Financial Officer of Globe Group of Companies. Throughout his career he has developed considerable experience in operations, finance, treasury management, risk management and international business structuring. Mr. Chatzis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, a Master's of Science degree in Shipping Trade & Finance from City University Cass Business School, as well as a post-graduate diploma in Shipping Risk Management from IMD Business School.
