Mr. Robert Stevens Herlin has been Chairman of Evolution Petroleum Corporation since January 2009. Mr. Herlin co-founded Evolution Petroleum Corp. in May 2004 and served as its Chief Executive Officer since September 2003 until January 2016. He served as the President of Evolution Petroleum Corp. since September 2003 until September 2014. He was responsible for all of Evolution Petroleum Corp.'s operations, development of its business model, identifying acquisitions of applicable oil and gas properties, developing Evolution Petroleum Corp.'s operating team and creating, establishing and maintaining industry partnerships. He serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of NGS Technologies, Inc. He has more than 21 years of experience in energy transactions, operations and finance with small independents, larger independents and major integrated oil companies. He is a Partner with Tatum Partners. Prior to the merger of Natural Gas Systems, Inc. (Old NGS) into Natural Gas Systems Inc. Mr. Herlin served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Old NGS. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Benz Energy Inc. since January 2000 and served as its Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of November 1997. From 2001 to 2003, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Intercontinental Tower Corporation from 2000 to 2003. He served as Vice President of Enron Liquids Services, a subsidiary of Enron Corporation and Manager of Planning and Investor Relations for Kelley Oil & Gas Corporation. He has a strong background in finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions. He has been a Director of Enservco Corporation since January 15, 2015 and Evolution Petroleum Corporation since September 2003. He serves as a Director of NGS Technologies, Inc. He served as an Independent Director of Boots & Coots International Well Control Inc., since September 30, 2003. He served as a Director of Old NGS. He served as a Director of Benz Energy Inc. since November 1997. Mr. David Joe has been the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Evolution Petroleum Corp since January 1, 2016 and serves as its Corporate Secretary. Mr. Joe served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President of Evolution Petroleum Corp. from January 01, 2014 to January 1, 2016 and also served as its Controller and Corporate Secretary from September 2007 to January 1, 2016. Mr. Joe served as an Accounting Manager at Evolution Petroleum Corp. since March 2005. Mr. Joe responsible to manage outsourced accounting services with Petroleum Financial, Inc. (PFI), perform financial reporting activities, coordinate audits and assist with special projects. From 2004 to 2005, he served as a Client Manager for the Prejean Company, a competitor to PFI in providing outsourced accounting services to the petroleum industry. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing and executing the complete upstream accounting cycle for multiple clients. Prior to joining Prejean, Mr. Joe spent 17 years in a wide array of supervisory, accounting and financial analysis positions with the UNOCAL Corporation. He is also a Member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and serves on the Education Committee of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston (PASH). Mr. Joe holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is certified as an Accredited Petroleum Accountant.
