Mr. Samuel M. Bemiss, III, also known as Sam, serves as the Managing Director of Ewing Bemiss & Co. Prior to joining EMB&Co., in 1996, Mr. Bemiss served as President of Admiralty Advisors Inc., that he founded and managed. He served as Vice President of William Kent International Inc. Before joining William Kent International, he directed merger and acquisition and business development activities at BNE Associates. He began his investment banking career as an associate in the corporate finance department of Goldman Sachs & Co., and was subsequently a Vice President in charge of the New England investment banking activities of Shearson Lehman Hutton Inc. He serves as a Director of SBLI USA Mutual Life Insurance Company Inc. He serves as a Director of the People of America Foundation, a trustee of the Elk Hill School and a Board Governor of the St. Christopher's School. He received a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1977 and JD/MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia in 1982.

Ms. Mary Adams Bacon is a Managing Director at Ewing Bemiss & Co. She joined Ewing Bemiss & Co. in 1994 as a Vice President and became a Managing Director in 1998. She is co-head of the alternative energy practice. She has focused exclusively on alternative and renewable energy since 1999. Prior to that time, she was vice president of finance at Retail Data Services, Inc., in which capacity she headed nationwide expansion initiatives. Previously, she was assistant vice president, corporate finance, at Wheat, First Securities, Inc., where she specialized in private placements and mergers and acquisitions. She has extensive experience in various sectors of the renewable energy power generation industry, focusing on sale assignments as well as raising equity and debt financing. She has been particularly active in the landfill gas to energy, geothermal and wood biomass to energy sectors. Her expertise extends to energy services as well as environmental sectors. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia (BA in Art History) and the College of William and Mary (MBA in Finance).

Mr. James H. McGrath IV, also known as Jimmy, is a Managing Director at Ewing Bemiss & Co. He was a Director at the firm. Prior to joining Ewing Bemiss & Co. in 1999, he was with Hogan & Hartson LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and public and private financings. He also was an associate with the corporate group of Hunton & Williams. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia (BA in Economics with Distinction) and the University of Virginia School of Law (JD), where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Order of the Coif, and the Virginia Law Review.
