We're not just coworkers, we're friends and all think with an intense amount of creativity
Our team works closely with one another to do group critique. We bounce ideas off of one another and help each other learn constantly.
Very bright and smart people and friendly and positive people. Best part about Hawke is my coworkers!

Everyone is expected to be cool. Everyone does their job and has a great time while doing it. There are a lot of young people which is fun!
The work environment is very casual, dog friendly, and full of young and driven people
There are also a lot of chances to bounce new ideas off of each other and collaborate creatively.

They are goal oriented, always trying to think of new ways to grow our business, and really care about the well being of their employees
They are very open to listen to your concerns.
They are not afraid to level with the employees they are managing and telling hard truths and congratulating awesome achievements.

It would be nice if we could bring ourselves to be able to offer industry standard pay upon hiring as the company grows
I've been working for one year and my compensation is fair for an entry level job.
What are the most important soft skills I need to be successful at Hawke Media?
Client-communication, project management, even sales skills. Empathy for typical clients (small businesses, start-ups)
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Hawke Media?
Learn all the specific platforms, how they integrate with other channels; ask a lot of questions about internal processes. There is a lot going on that is unique to the process of each channel and inter-channel collaboration.
What should I wear for an interview at Hawke Media?
Smart casual is the best way to go. It's a very laid back office, but always a good idea to look sharp.
What's the vibe like in the Design dept at Hawke Media? How many hours are you working?
The vibe is very collaborative. The entire team gets along great and our office space is probably the nicest in the building. I work anywhere from 8-9 hours a day on average, but the extra hour is usually just to wait out traffic.
