Everyone is expected to be cool. Everyone does their job and has a great time while doing it. There are a lot of young people which is fun!
The work environment is very casual, dog friendly, and full of young and driven people
There are also a lot of chances to bounce new ideas off of each other and collaborate creatively.

Learn all the specific platforms, how they integrate with other channels; ask a lot of questions about internal processes. There is a lot going on that is unique to the process of each channel and inter-channel collaboration.

Smart casual is the best way to go. It's a very laid back office, but always a good idea to look sharp.
What's the vibe like in the Design dept at Hawke Media? How many hours are you working?
The vibe is very collaborative. The entire team gets along great and our office space is probably the nicest in the building. I work anywhere from 8-9 hours a day on average, but the extra hour is usually just to wait out traffic.
