Mr. James Haynes, also known as Jim, has been an Executive Vice President of Oclaro, Inc. since April 10, 2017. Mr. Haynes served as the Chief Operating Officer of Oclaro, Inc. since May 2014 until April 10, 2017. Mr. Haynes served as the President of Integrated Photonics Business at oclaro, inc from November 2013 to April 2014 and served as President of Global Business at Oclaro, Inc., since May 2012 until september 2013. Mr. Haynes served as Chief Operating Officer of Oclaro, Inc. (alternate name, Bookham Inc.) from March 2005 to January 2011 and its Acting Chief Technology Officer since June 2005. Mr. Haynes joined Oclaro, Inc. in June 2003 and served as its Vice President of UK operations from August 2004 to March 2005 and Vice President of Operations and Site Leader, Caswell from June 2003 to August 2004. He has a long and significant track record in the optical industry spanning over 20 years. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Agility Communications, Inc. from December 2000 to June 2003. Mr. Haynes served as President and General Manager of Photonic Components since January 2011. He worked for 15 years for various positions at Nortel and STC. From 1998 to December 2000, Mr. Haynes served as Director of Technology of Nortel Networks Corporation. Before joining Agility, he had a 17-year career with Nortel and worked in the High- Performance Optical Component Solutions group, that spanned several countries. Prior to this assignment, he served as Director of Operations for all optoelectronics manufacturing in Paignton and Harlow, the United Kingdom and Ottawa, Canada. He served as Director of Andor Technology plc from February 26, 2013 to January 2014. He was responsible for manufacturing, materials supply, planning, manufacturing engineering and line quality functions. He held process engineering, wafer fabrication management and development engineering positions at Nortel. Mr. Haynes holds BSc (Hons) in Materials Science and Technology from Swansea University, Singleton Park, Swansea. He holds B.Sc. in Physics from Manchester Metropolitan University.
