Mr. Menderes Akdag has been the Chief Executive Officer of PetMed Express, Inc. since March 16, 2001 and has been its President since August 2005. Prior to joining PetMed Express Inc., from November 15, 2000 to March 31, 2001, Mr. Akdag served as the Chief Executive Officer of International Cosmetics Marketing Co. (also known as Beverly Sassoon & Co.). From May 1991 to August 2000, he was employed by Lens Express, Inc., a subsidiary of Summit Autonomous, Inc. He served as the President of Lens Express from May 1995 to August 2000, Chief Executive Officer from August 1992 to May 1996 and Chief Financial Officer from May 1991 to August 1992. Mr. Akdag served as Finance Manager for Beksa Steel Cord Manufacturing and Trading Inc. Mr. Akdag has been a Director of PetMed Express, Inc. since November 20, 2002. Mr. Akdag serves as a Director of Integrity Tracking, LLC. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Lens Express, Inc. from August 1992 to May 1996 and International Cosmetics Marketing Co. until December 18, 2000. Mr. Akdag served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Netel Inc. Mr. Akdag holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida where he graduated with high honors.
