Mr. Gao served as the Chief Executive Officer of Silvercorp Metals Inc. from October 18, 2013 to December 2014, served as its President from March 18, 2003 to August 2006 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from August 2006 to November 8, 2012. He served for numerous Canadian mining and exploration companies. He was based part-time in China and is also active in sourcing, assessing and acquiring mineral projects for SilverCorp. Metals Inc.
