Dr. Jacques Dumas, Ph.D., has been the Chief Scientific Officer of Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2015. Dr. Dumas served as the Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President of Idenix Pharmaceuticals Inc. since January 20, 2014. He is trained as a Medicinal Chemist and has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical discovery and development, supporting a variety of programs in infectious diseases and oncology. He is a Co-Inventor of two marketed drugs in the field of oncology, Nexavar(R) and Stivarga(R). He served as Vice President and Head of Strategy, Infection Innovative Medicines at AstraZeneca Plc since December 2010. Dr. Dumas was responsible for disease area strategy and external collaborations on behalf of AstraZeneca's small-molecule infectious diseases unit. He served as Associate Director of Medicinal Chemistry and Emerging Products Director at AstraZeneca from February 2007 to December 2010. He held several positions at Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a subsidiary of Bayer AG, from 1995 to 2007. He served as Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He served as a Scientific Advisors at Spero Therapeutics, LLC since May 2014. Dr. Dumas received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Paris 6 University in 1991 and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University.

Mr. Larry Edwards has been Chief Commercial Officer at Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 11, 2017 and served as its Vice President of Commercial Operations from January 2016 to January 11, 2017. Mr. Edwards first joined Tetraphase as Vice President of Marketing in July 2015. Mr. Edwards served as Senior Director of Marketing, gram negative franchise, with Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., from April 2014 to July 2015 (Cubist acquired by Merck). From 2010 to 2014, Mr. Edwards served as Global Marketing Director, clostridium difficile & new infectious disease products, with Merck & Co., where he also served as Associate Director of Marketing, vaccines and infectious diseases from 2007 to 2010 and various management, training and sales positions of increasing responsibility from 1999 to 2007. Mr. Edwards received a Bachelor of Science in Business & Healthcare Administration from Ohio University.

Ms. Kamalam Unninayar, also known as Kam, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since October 16, 2017. Ms. Unninayar has a track record of over two decades of financial leadership in the life sciences and consumer goods industries. She served for over 11 years overseeing finance organizations at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in serving science. Across her multiple roles at Thermo Fisher, she led financial operations, corporate financial planning and analysis and finance for business strategy. During her tenure, she led finance for the customer channels group, the chemical analysis division and businesses with revenues that ranged from $200 million to $4 billion. She holds a master of science in administration from Wichita State University, as well as a master of finance & control and bachelor of commerce from the University of Delhi, India.

Ms. Maria D. Stahl has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since March 5, 2015. Ms. Stahl served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from October 2010 to August 2014. Ms. Stahl served as General Counsel of Zipcar, Inc. from November 2009 to October 2010. She served as Idenix's Vice President, Associate General Counsel from February 2008 to November 2009 and as Assistant General Counsel from February 2007 to February 2008. From February 2005 to February 2007, she served as Vice President and Corporate Counsel of Capital Crossing Bank. She was at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP from 1997 to 2005. Ms. Stahl has a Bachelor of Arts from Providence College and a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School.

Melanie Olesky serves as the Executive Director, Head of Medical Affairs of Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals. Melanie started at Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals in October of 2017. Melanie is currently based in the Greater Boston Area.
