Mr. Roberto E. Cuca, J.D. has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Trevena, Inc. since September 2013 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Cuca has nearly 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Most recently, he served as Treasurer and Senior Vice President, Finance at Endo Health Solutions Inc., a specialty healthcare company. He served as Director of Corporate and Business Development, at moksha8 Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company focused on emerging markets. Mr. Cuca also served at JP Morgan Chase & Co, Research Division as an Associate and Equity Analyst, covered U.S. pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Cuca received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Cornell Law School, an A.B. from Princeton University and he is a CFA charterholder.

Dr. Michael W. Lark, Ph.D. has been the Senior Vice President of Research at Trevena, Inc. and its Chief Scientific Officer since March 2011. Dr. Lark served as the Head of Research at Trevena, Inc., since February 2008. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Biology at Centocor R&D where he was responsible for the therapeutic discovery strategy and execution in immunology, oncology, tissue remodeling and biomarkers. In this role, Dr. Lark managed a portfolio of approximately 15 drug discovery projects as well as supported the development of 14 new molecular entities (two in late stage clinical development) and one product. He has been a Director at Trevena, Inc., since February 2008. Dr. Lark was previously Director of Musculoskeletal Diseases at GlaxoSmithKline, where he managed a portfolio of drug discovery projects targeting osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis. Before joining SmithKline Beecham in 1996, Dr. Lark was a Senior Investigator at Merck Research laboratories, where he led a drug discovery team targeting matrix metalloproteinase-3 for the treatment of osteoarthritis. Dr. Lark received his B.S. in Microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the Case Western Reserve University Medical School. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Pathology at The University of Washington.

Dr. Howard A. Rockman, M.D is Scientific Founder of Trevena Inc. and serves as its Consultant. Dr. Rockman serves as Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine of Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Rockman's research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure, and the role of G-protein-coupled receptors in the development of disease. His recent work led to the discovery of a totally new signaling mechanism for these receptors, which is independent of G-protein activation, and opens the door for identification of a new breed of drug molecules that leverage the pathway. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Trevena, Inc. Dr. Rockman is the Edward S. Orgain Professor of Medicine at Duke University and Chief of Cardiology, with joint appointments in the Departments of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. He received his MD from McGill University in 1983, having completed medical residency at the Montreal General Hospital in 1987, and a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego in 1991.

Mr. John M. Limongelli, Esq. has been the Chief Administrative Officer at Trevena, Inc. since March 2016 and has been its Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since May 15, 2014. Mr. Limongelli has over 15 years of strategic and legal experience representing public life sciences and healthcare companies. Since 2013, he served as Vice President, Associate Chief Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Cigna Corporation. From 2008 to 2011, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Adolor Corporation. Mr. Limongelli held roles of increasing responsibility with Cephalon, Inc., most recently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel. He began his legal career in private practice with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, in Philadelphia; he also later served as a partner with a local Philadelphia-area firm after the sale of Adolor to Cubist Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Limongelli obtained both his Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration with honors from Temple University.
