Dr. Francisco Diaz-Mitoma, M.D., Ph.D., has been the Chief Medical Officer at VBI Vaccines Inc. since February 2016. Dr. Diaz-Mitoma has continued to stay involved at VBI as an Independent Medical Consultant. He has been a Consultant to numerous pharmaceutical companies in antiviral drug development. He founded Variation Biotechnologies Inc.(Alternate Name: VBI Vaccines Inc.) in 2001 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until September 2009. He served as Vice President of Research at Health Sciences North/Horizon Sant???-Nord. He is a renowned Medical Scientist and Professor. He founded the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Canada (AMRIC) and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientist/CSO. He is the Founder of two research foundations, including the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Centre at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute. He held the titles of Infectious Disease and Clinical Virology Consultant with the Ottawa Hospital and Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at CHEO. He served as a Professor of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM). He also served as a Professor in the departments of Pediatrics, Pathology, Laboratory Medicine and Microbiology at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at VBI Vaccines Inc. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Folia Biotech Inc. He served as a Director of VBI Vaccines Inc. He has authored more than 130 scientific papers and chapters in textbooks. He serves on several editorial boards, has actively participated in more than 50 antiviral clinical trials and has authored several protocols. His research has been published in more than 110 peer-reviewed international journals and has been involved in the clinical development of nine licensed vaccines. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. He earned a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Virology) and a fellowship in Medical Microbiology from the University of Alberta. Dr. Diaz-Mitoma also completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Manitoba.

Ms. Nell Beattie serves as the Chief Business Officer of VBI Vaccines Inc. and served as its Director of Corporate Development & Investor Relations since June 22, 2015. Ms. Beattie joined VBI in 2015. She was a Consultant at Artisan Healthcare Consulting, where she worked with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to develop financial and strategic analyses, as well as provided guidance and support for corporate and business development efforts. Ms. Beattie also holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College. She holds M.B.A at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Ms. Athena Kartsaklis has been the Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance and Principal Financial & Accounting Officer at VBI Vaccines Inc. since September 21, 2017. Ms. Kartsaklis has over 25 years of experience in conducting audits and managing financial reporting and reviewing internal controls. Before joining VBI Vaccines Inc. as Corporate Controller in May 2017, she served as a Senior Vice President of SkyWave Mobile Communications Inc. since December 2013, managing financial reporting, budget and forecast process and audit and other accounting matters. She served as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Alterna Savings, Ottawa, Canada since September 2012, mainly responsible for financial and administrative reporting. From 1992 to September 2012, she worked at Deloitte, Hadjipavlou, Sofianos & Cambanis S.A., Athens Greece (Member of Deloitte & Touche International), and became a Partner in 2000, overseeing and performing audits and advising clients on audit and accounting matters. Ms. Kartsaklis received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ms. Kartsaklis is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and U.S. Certified Public Accountant.

Dr. David Evander Anderson, Ph.D. co-founded VBI Vaccines Inc. (formerly Variation Biotechnologies Inc.) in 2001 and has been its Chief Scientific Officer since May 6, 2016. Dr. Anderson has been Chief Scientific Officer of VBI DE since August 2015. He has been Vice President of Immunology/Research at VBI US since joining in 2009. He served as Senior Vice President of Research at VBI Vaccines Inc since July 25, 2014 until September 2015 and served as its Vice President of Research. He served as Vice President of Immunology at Variation Biotechnologies (US), Inc. He was a Faculty Member of Harvard Medical School. He has extensive training and publication record in many fields of immunology. Dr. Anderson holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and a B.S. from the University of California at Davis.

David Anderson serves as the Senior Vice President, Research of VBI Vaccines Inc.. David started at VBI Vaccines Inc. in April of 2008. David currently resides in Greater Boston Area.

Adam Buckley serves as the Vice President, Operations of VBI Vaccines Inc.. Adam started at VBI Vaccines Inc. in September of 2009. Adam currently resides in Greater Boston Area.
