Akari Care is a family of Residential Care Homes spread across the UK, with the largest concentration of homes in the north-east. We choose the word family with good reason, because in many ways it epitomises our values. Each Care Home we view as an extended family, bringing together residents and their families, our colleagues in care, clinicians, hairdressers, commissioners and CQC regulators, members of the local community the list goes on. In this way, we are able to create a warm and inclusive environment in which our residents can feel a real sense of security and belonging, while at the same time retaining their dignity and self respect.
