Dr. Sven Guenther, Ph.D. has been Executive Vice President of Research & Development at KemPharm, Inc. since May 2014. Dr. Guenther served as Vice President of Research at KemPharm, Inc. Dr. Guenther joined KemPharm to help build and manage an experienced and talented research team that plays a central role in early stage discovery by providing the capability to efficiently and quickly advance from concept to lead development. Prior to KemPharm, Dr. Guenther was a Research Scientist at New River Pharmaceuticals where he synthesized compounds in various therapeutic areas including ADHD, pain and anti-viral drugs. He was also involved in the chemical development of Vyvanse. He served as Director of KemPharm, Inc. from April 2012 to April 2015. He is inventor on a number of patents and patent applications and author of several research papers. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Iowa.

Mr. Daniel L. Cohen, also known as Dan, has been an Executive Vice President of Government & Public Relations at KemPharm, Inc. since April 19, 2016. Mr. Cohen is responsible for leading KemPharma's public policy and public communications strategies. Mr. Cohen served as Managing Director and Head of Government Relations of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation since February 2011. He has nearly 40 years of experience and Mr. Cohen is widely regarded as an influential thought leader in the abuse deterrent formulation (ADF) industry. He serves as the Forum Chair of the Abuse Deterrent Coalition, representing nearly 30 ADF manufacturers, patient advocates and related organizations seeking to expand access to ADF technologies. Mr. Cohen was the consulting Head of North American Government Relations for Gr???nenthal USA. Mr. Cohen has more than three decades experience working in various senior-level government relations positions. He served as Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Health Policy for EnteroMedics, Inc. since September 2009. Mr. Cohen served as Senior Vice President, Government Relations & Public Policy of US Oncology, a health-care services network devoted to cancer treatment and research. Mr. Cohen is serving in industry, as well as in congressional and administration positions and as a lobbyist. He was a consulting in the areas of reimbursement policy and drug/device approvals. Mr. Cohen served as Vice President of Global Government Affairs and Investor Relations of Allergan Medical (alternate name Inamed Corp.). Prior to that, he was a principal at Loeffler, Jonas & Tuggey where he managed several clients in financial services. Mrs. Christal M.M. Mickle, M.A., has been Vice President of Operations & Product Development at KemPharm, Inc. since October 2013. Mrs. Mickle served as Vice President of Product Development at KemPharm, Inc. since February 2016, Mrs. Mickle co-founded KemPharm, Inc. and served as its Vice President of Operations & Product Development since October 2013. Mrs. Mickle served as Secretary and Vice President of Corporate Affairs at KemPharm, Inc., from 2006 to 2014 and from 2008 to October 2013 respectively. Mrs. Mickle has been an integral part in the start-up of KemPharm, as well as, maintaining the operations of it. Prior to KemPharm, she served for New River Pharmaceuticals as a Research Associate preparing compounds in the areas of ADHD, pain and thyroid dysfunctions for further study. Mrs. Mickle served as a Director of KemPharm, Inc., from 2006 to April 2014. Mrs. Mickle is Inventor on several patents and patent applications. She holds a M.A. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia. She also holds a B.A. in Chemistry and B.S. in Biochemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Mr. R. LaDuane Clifton, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer of KemPharm, Inc. since June 25, 2015 and has been its Treasurer and Secretary since February 2016. Mr. Clifton served as the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller of KemPharm, Inc. from March 2015 to June 25, 2015. Mr. Clifton served as the Chief Financial Officer of The LGL Group, Inc. since December 17, 2012 until March 31, 2015 and its Secretary and Treasurer since December 2012 until March 31, 2015. Mr. Clifton served as the Chief Accounting Officer of The LGL Group, Inc. from March 2010 to January 2, 2013. Mr. Clifton served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at A21 Inc. since August 15, 2008. Mr. Clifton served as a Corporate Controller of The LGL Group, Inc. from August 2009 to March 2010 and served as its Secretary. He served as Corporate Controller at A21 Inc. since March 2007 and also served as its Chief Financial Officer. He served as Senior Auditor for KPMG LLP from August 2004 to March 2007. From August 1991 to August 2004, he was employed in various roles with Aetna Inc., and served as its Regional Medical Cost Manager. He received a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from the University of North Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.
