The small teams feel like a work family, and are supportive.
The current manager refuses to talk to staff and is only accessible through the assistants/team leads. Any questions for management take 4-6 weeks for an answer and it's usually "we don't know ".
The company has a reputation within the community as being difficult to work with. Customer service is not accessible, care follow up gets lost, and customers feel there is a negative attitude from staff.
It takes MONTHS to get hired, and it feels disjointed. Even if you get a job offer it's not in writing so its nerve wracking to leave an old job and make that leap of faith.
There are published salaries for my profession that are updated annually based on education and experience. Gaining education never makes a difference at this employer and employees are consistently paid lower than the published independently collected average.
