Mr. Gerardo Cortina has been Vice President of MFC Bancorp Ltd. since March 3, 2017. Mr. Cortina served as Chief Executive Officer and President of MFC Bancorp Ltd. from May 2014 to March 3, 2017. Mr. Cortina served as Managing Director of Possehl M???xico, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of MFC Industrial Ltd. He has successfully developed export markets in Central America, the Caribbean and South America. He has a track record of over 25 years of stable growth and profitable operations in the global commodities supply chain business. Mr. Cortina has been a Director of MFC Bancorp Ltd. since March 31, 2014. Mr. Cortina has a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Ferdinand Steinbauer has been a Treasurer of MFC Bancorp Ltd. since May 2014. Mr. Steinbauer has been Managing Director of MFC Commodities GmbH since 1998. At MFC, he has been instrumental in building supply chain structured solutions and client acquisition. He served as Treasurer for 20 years with KNP Leykam Austria (later acquired by SAPPI). He has over 35 years of experience in banking, structured trade finance and risk management. He serves as a Director at MFC Merchant Bank LTD. He serves as a Director of Compton Petroleum Corp. Mr. Steinbauer holds a degree from the Austrian Commercial Academy in Graz.
