Mr. Aaron D. Peck serves as a Managing Director at Monroe Capital LLC since September 2012. Mr. Peck serves as Co-head specialty finance lending at the firm and also as a Portfolio Manager of BDC. Mr. Peck joined the firm in 2012, where he is responsible for portfolio management and strategic initiatives and co-leads Monroe Capital's specialty financing lending practice. He also serves as the Finance and Investment Professional at Monroe Capital BDC Advisors, LLC. Mr. Peck served as Portfolio Manager for AEG Investors LLC. From 2003 to 2004, he served as Senior Director of AEG Investors LLC and led the company's efforts in acquiring distressed middle market loans. Mr. Peck served as Co-Chief Investment Officer of CIFC Deerfield Corp. (Formerly Known as Deerfield Capital Corp.). He served as Senior Portfolio Manager of Deerfield Capital Corp. Mr. Peck served as Director of the Special Opportunities Group at Deerfield Capital Management, where he was responsible for the trading and analysis of distressed debt issues. Prior to joining Deerfield, Mr. Peck served as Senior Analyst from 2001 to 2002 and Research Associate at Black Diamond Capital Management, L.L.C. focusing on leveraged finance. His duties included the management of over $500 million in total bank loan investments and numerous industry coverage responsibilities. Previously, he was employed as Vice President of High Yield and Global Special Situations Group at Salomon Smith Barney, Inc., and as an Associate in the Global Distressed Products Group at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Mr. Peck also served as a Special Situations Analyst at ESL Investments, Inc., and as a Corporate Financial Analyst at Lehman Brothers Inc. He has a broad background in the structuring and analysis of investment in distressed bank loans and bonds. Mr. Peck holds an MBA with Honors in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
